ONE-TIME DONATION
To date, 22 families have donated $1045 through the One-Time Donation program. Under this program, families who do not wish to participate in catalog fundraisers, book fairs, fun fairs and other PTO fundraisers can donate any amount they choose directly to PTO. One hundred percent of the donation goes directly into funding the activities and teacher philanthropy requests supported by PTO and families are off the hook from participating in fundraisers for the year. Families can participate at any time by writing a check to Winfield PTO and placing it in an envelope marked One-Time Donation and sending it in to either school office. Thank you to the families who have already participated. Click here for a list of donors: Donor List

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
Our October Family Movie Night, Hotel for Dogs, was a huge success. We are planning our next Family Movie Night for January 8, 2010. We haven't decided on a movie yet. If you have a suggestion, please forward it to Lisa Marie Vogt or MaryAnne Lustig. Here's how Family Movie Night works: Doors will open at 6 PM. Admission is free! (children must be accompanied by a supervising adult). Bring blankets or lawn chairs and plan to be set up and ready to watch the movie by 6:15. In addition to our traditional concessions of popcorn, candy, juice boxes, soft drinks & bottled water, "Puppy Chow" will be available for purchase. Concessions are sold at a nominal cost (just enough to cover the expenses of running a family fun night). Most families will find that $1 to 2 per child will buy plenty of treats. If you would like to help with concessions, please call Lisa Marie Vogt at 871-5644 or Mary Anne Lustig at 690-2019.
