We are trying some new approaches to fundraising this year.
Greenery Sales are now in progress. The deadline for returning order forms has been extended to October 24th. Greenery can be picked up on November 21st at the Gavin residence or you can have it delivered to your home or business for an additional $2. Our Sally Foster Catalog Wrapping Paper sale is going online this year. You can access the sale by clicking on the Sally Foster Banner. 
You can order any time before December 31, 2008 and Winfield Schools will get 50% of your purchase price. Shipping is free on orders over $70. An added bonus of shopping online is access to the clearance center where you can get some terrific bargains on greeting cards and ribbons. If you don't need $70 worth of wrapping paper and gifts, why not team up with a neighbor or friend? A limited number of catalogs are available in either school office for those who want to order the old fashioned way.
Silver Graphics is a new fundraiser where your child creates art that can be reproduced on a variety of items suitable for gift-giving or keepsakes. Our artists have completed their projects and they have been submitted to Silver Graphics for processing. If your child participated, you can expect to receive a packet with a print of their artwork and a catalog of available products on or after October 17th. You can view the quality of the items by visiting the Primary School lobby where objects are on display now. We anticipate products ordered will be delivered the first week of December. Our fall Tiger T sale has ended. If you ordered t-shirts or other products they should arrive very soon. If you forgot to place an order you can call our coordinator, Anne Nickrand, to see if she has anything in stock in the sizes you need. Our Winter All School Event this year will be "Winter Escape to the Boardwalk" on January 31, 2009. We are planning a Fun Fair with a Cake Walk and Karaoke, raffle baskets, a boardwalk style food court where we hope to offer a variety of tasty foods, and a staff and community auction. If you want to get involved please contact Deanna Mustafa at 630-260-5977 or Mary Schramer 630-784-0058. We are hoping to raise enough money from this fundraiser to help the school purchase DuKane document readers, projectors and slates for our school.
